Planned Parenthoodís web properties and digital products touch tens of millions of users every year. We are a trusted brand for online health information, in-person health services, telemedicine, and political advocacy.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Product Manager will oversee strategic product development and management for one or more consumer-facing digital products aimed at connecting people with Planned Parenthoodís health information, health services, and opportunities to get involved with Planned Parenthood. The Product Manager will report to the Director of Product Management and will work closely with developers and designers to build exceptional user experiences and measure their success. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of business and technical chops, a big-picture perspective, and the motivation to make that vision a reality.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver top-notch user experience to Planned Parenthoodís consumers on mobile, tablet, and desktop.Develop product vision, requirements, and roadmap for one or more consumer-facing products. Establish KPIs for products and oversee regular and ongoing data analysis to inform product evolution.Conduct user research. Assess competitive landscape. Work with visual and UX designers to execute a compelling product vision.Write functional specifications for engineering. Build relationships with key business stakeholders and develop an understanding of relevant business processes and systems used by PPFA and affiliates to inform digital product offerings. Communicate product vision to stakeholders, report ongoing progress. Work with other product managers and IS leadership to create an environment of innovation within Planned Parenthood.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelorís degree. Preferred CS or business. Additional education/professional training a plus.
Experience:

2+ years experience developing consumer-facing digital products.
Demonstrable achievements defining and bringing to market top-notch digital products.
Strong knowledge of digital user experience practices, with a focus on mobile.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Qualifications of Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader in product development and user experience with the ability to effectively translate customer feedback into actionable intelligence. Must be unflappable, with excellent people skills, in particular, partnership and relationship building with both internal/external stakeholders
