As a Product Manager for Reporting & Analytics, you will be responsible for understanding and defining the product strategy for SmartFocus Analytics, delivering solutions to provide data and insights to users. You will establish the strategic roadmap for our reports, Dashboards and analytics initiatives with a Build, buy or partner methodology.
Your products include multi-terabyte data sets of behavioral, demographic and transactional data; segmentation and analysis tools to identify high value segments; report and dashboard systems, and data services. `
The position reports to the Vice-President, Technical Product Management and will work closely with Clients, as well as Client Services, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations groups.
Define and deliver the next generation of SmartFocus Analytics. This includes defining product vision and strategy, roadmap creation and communication, functional requirements, all the way through to customer development and success,,
Engage and maintain relationship with internal business stakeholders worldwide to understand specific opportunities and customer needs for reporting, analytics, segmentation, scoring and data mining,
Drive product requirements in the development from a customer and user driven approach,
Work with other product managers to determine what analytics will most help our customers,
Engage with customers for discovery, hypothesis validation and roadmap updates,
Own and drive feature delivery end-to-end: writing user stories, working with user experience to create prototypes for usability testing, working with development, documentation and quality assurance teams to deliver a marketable product on-time,
Work with our Software Architecture and Development teams to design new data services,
Act as the Product Owner within a feature team to provide directions and priorities, owning the product backlog,
Determine Beta test and roll out plans with Release Management and Operations teams,
Engage and evangelize Analytics within the organization through competition and related industry news,
Monitor and communicate usage data for Reporting & Analytics to be used in product investment decisions at Management level and find startegies to boost product adoption,
Work closely with Product Marketing to define key selling propositions and develop relevant marketing materials,
Support Marketing and Sales enablement in developing a company-wide go-to-market plan, helping in developing standard presentations and demo scripts,
Work with our technology partners to keep ahead of key evolutions,
Be the domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events.
