Case Commons' mission is to transform public sector human services through user-centered design & technology. We're pursuing this vision through the development of CasebookŪ suite of products, an innovative, family-centered enterprise case management system and APIs for human services.
What You'll Do:
Understand and describe the government human services technology market, regulatory environment and customer needs to your team
Propose product solutions that align with company goals and mission
Collaborate and coordinate across the organization - at all levels - to drive your product work forward
Manage software development and configuration, using Case Commons' agile process developed with our founding partners, Pivotal Labs and IDEO
Develop and iterate on product roadmaps, release plans, and other supporting materials to share your solutions with internal and external teams
Translate observations into detailed software development "stories"
Produce and edit materials for user design meetings, story breakdown meetings, user tests, community management, product marketing and sales
What You've Got:
A honed ability to communicate the business value of product features to various audiences
Depth of experience prioritizing product development work and organizing team members around those priorities
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Strong presentation skills, particularly the ability to demo technology and to convey complex information and decision-related data concisely and logically
Strong desire and skills to succeed in a startup environment: tenacious, self-directed, flexible, strategic but can turn on a dime, able to inspire others and to be inspired
3 to 5 years experience in product development or management for web-based applications specifically
For Integration Product Manager only: Engineering background preferred.
Strong inter-personal and team skills, with active listening abilities and instincts
